Jindal Stainless hikes stainless steel prices

Indian steelmaker Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL) hiked its prices for stainless steel products by more than Rupees 6,000/mt ($133) due to rising manufacturing costs. A company official said, "Rising input costs have subsequently increased the cost of production of stainless steel and we had to raise the prices." JSL produces stainless steel slabs, stainless steel hot rolled coil and stainless steel cold rolled coil products.
