Jiangsu Shangang reinstalls former TKS plant

Chinese Jiangsu Shangang Group has started the reinstallation of the former TKS Dortmund integrated steelworks at Zhangjiang, in Jiangsu province, north of Shanghai. The blast furnace is expected to be commissioned at the end of this year. The full operation in the plant, including the hot strip mill that has an annual capacity of 3.2 million tons, will commence by end 2004.
