Turkey-based credit rating agency JCR Eurasia Rating has affirmed the long-term national credit rating of Turkish integrated long steel producer Kardemir as 'A' with a positive outlook, the Turkish steel company has stated.

Kardemir said that the affirmation of its national credit rating and positive outlook by JCR Eurasia Rating reflects its controlled energy costs due to its ability to meet most of its energy needs, good demand from the construction sector, the launch of high value-added product sales, strong cash flow generation, and reduced investment costs.
