ITC initiates full sunset review for imported HR flat products

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has recently voted to conduct full sunset review (five-year) concerning the anti-dumping duty orders on hot-rolled flat-rolled carbon-quality steel products imported from Brazil and Japan, the suspended countervailing duty investigation on the same product imported from Brazil, and the suspended anti-dumping duty investigation on the same product imported from Russia. As a result of the voting, ITC will conduct full sunset reviews (five-year) to determine whether revocation of these orders and termination of these suspension agreements would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to US steel industry.
