Among the most imported flat steel products from non-EU countries in the given period were coils (455,000 mt), cold rolled plate (81,000 mt) and hot dip galvanized plate (58,000 mt).

Concerning Italian exports to non-EU countries in the first month of 2019, long product exports decreased by 16.7 percent, while flat product exports declined by 18.2 percent, year on year.
