According to the latest figures issued by ISTAT, Italy's national statistics office, in April this year Italy's construction output index increased by 0.8 percent month on month.
However, in April the construction output calendar-adjusted index decreased by 1.1 percent year on year. In the first four months of the current year, the index is almost unchanged on year-on-year basis.
