Italian construction output down 0.2 percent in March from February

According to ISTAT, Italy's national statistics office, in March this year the Italian construction output index decreased by 0.2 percent month on month. In the first quarter of the current year, Italy's construction output index declined by 1.3 percent quarter on quarter.

In the same month, the seasonally-adjusted index decreased by 0.2 percent year on year (there were 22 working days in March 2011, compared to 23 working days in March 2010). The seasonally-adjusted quarterly index figure grew by 0.3 percent compared to Q1 2010.
