Isdemir may increase its billet sales price for local market

Turkish integrated steel mill Isdemir effects its sales on condition that billet orders and payments for the next week are received by Friday. SteelOrbis is reported that today Isdemir decided to raise its local market billet sales prices from $231/mt up to $233/mt and is intending to effect billet sales from this price level. On the other hand, it is reported that no sales has been effected by Isdemir as rolling mills in the area making purchases from Isdemir reacted to the price increase due to low demand in the market. It is stated that a review will be made on Monday for the final situation.
