Isdemir is installing new casters at its mill

According to recent news in the market, Turkish integrated steel producer Isdemir, located in Iskenderun, has started installation of two six-strand continuous casters at its mill. The new casters will possess features of Convex Technology of Switzerland's Concast. The casters are expected to produce 2 million tons per annum. SteelOrbis has recently reported that Russian mill OEMK also plans to benefit from this technology of Concast. It is stated that the machines, which are the product of this new technology will replace the exsiting machines, which are the product of Soviet technology.
