Iron ore concentrate output at Tonggang’s Banshi mine rises in 2012

Jilin Province-based Tonggang Mining Co., a subsidiary of Chinese steelmaker Shougang Tonggang Group, has announced that its Banshi iron ore mine, located in Jilin, produced iron ore concentrate amounting to 1.2721 million mt in 2012, up 1.6 percent compared with 1.252 million mt recorded in 2011. Banshi mine thus achieved its annual iron ore concentrate output target for 2012. The average iron content of the iron ore concentrate produced was 66.09 percent.
