Iron Ore Co meets the Union

According to recent news in the market Iron Ore Co of Canada, a subsidiary of Rio Tinto, met with the union United Steelworkers of America (USWA) yesterday to restart contract talks. As reported by SteelOrbis early this week, Rio Tinto officials and USWA had planned to meet to end the five-week strike at the mill involving the participation of 1'400 workers. The workers went on strike on July 17, objecting to the management's plan regarding the improvement of productivity.
