On December 15 Mr. Ahmad Ali Haratinik, Iran's deputy minister of industries and mines, officially inaugurated two new iron ore mines at Sechahoon and Mishdovan in the central Iranian province of Yazd.
An annual output of four million mt of iron ore is expected to be achieved at Sechahoon, with the annual iron ore output at Mishdovan expected to reach 0.5 million mt.
