Iran inaugurates fourth beneficiation plant of Chador Malu

On February 18, the fourth beneficiation plant of Iran's main iron ore concentrate producer Chador Malu Mining and Industrial Company (Chador Malu) was inaugurated by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The beneficiation plant in question with its annual capacity of 1.7 million mt will bring Chador Malu's total capacity of iron ore concentrate up to seven million mt per year. The fourth beneficiation plant has been built at the cost of an investment of Rials 800 billion (approx. about $80 million).
