Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has announced that traders will not be able to export long steel products from Iran.

SteelOrbis understands that the government will only allow producers and producers who have official representatives in foreign countries to export rebar, wire rod, angle and beams.

Market sources expect that this move will help support prices which are currently at lower levels amid currency manipulations.
