Ukrainian pipe producer Interpipe's subsidiary Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant (NTRP) intends to develop the production of casing of steel grade C90 and T95, which have high corrosion resistance in hydrosulphuric environments, according to the specification API 5 CT. Also, the company plans to master the production of header tubes for use in hydrogen sulfide and marine environments. After developing these types of pipes, Interpipe's NTRP plans to undergo the procedure for expansion of the license scope for the right to use the American Petroleum Institute monogram.
In addition, NTRP also plans to develop its own design of European standard wheels with diameter of 920 mm, wheels of 850 mm and 844 mm diameter for Bombardier aircraft, and wheels for the South African market with diameter of 1,020 mm and 1005 mm.
Interpipe's subsidiary NTRP specializes in the production of seamless pipes for the extraction and transportation of products of the gas-and-oil producing industry, pipes of special purpose for machinery and power industries, pipes of general purpose for use in other industries, and wheels and tires for rail transport.
In 2010, the plant increased its revenue from sales by 62.6 percent to $631,2 million, while the net loss of the plant decreased by 27.3 percent to $32 million.
