INSIG’s long steel output rises by 12 percent

Iranian steelmaker Iran National Steel Industrial Group (INSIG) produced 610,000 mt of long steel products (I-beam, rebar, tube) in the first six months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), representing an increase of 12 percent compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, according to the company managing director Abdolreza Rasouli.

INSIG produced 140,000 mt of steel billet in the first half of the current Iranian year, more or less unchanged year on year.
