INI Steel begins hot rolled coil production

South Korean steel producer INI Steel announced that it began producing hot rolled coils yesterday. INI Steel, which acquired Hanbo Iron & Steel last year, last produced hot rolled coils in 1998. INI Steel plans to produce 680'000 tons of hot rolled coils by the end of this year. Moreover, production of hot rolled coils for commercial use as will begin as early as May 2005.
