India’s NMDC Limited targets iron ore output of 100 million mt for FY 2029-30

India’s state-run iron ore miner NMDC Limited has set an annual production target of 100 million mt to be achieved within five years, company chairman and managing director Amitava Mukherjee said in a statement on Thursday, August 17.

He said that the company has set an ambitious target and would achieve it over the next half decade, having achieved an annual output of 40 million mt after the past six decades.

NMDC has set its iron ore production target at 50 million mt for the fiscal year 2023-24, up 21 percent over the previous fiscal year.
