India’s NMDC Limited sees 20% rise in iron ore output in Q1 FY 2023-24

India’s state-run miner NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 10.70 million mt in the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2023-24, up 20 percent year on year, a company regulatory filing said on Monday, July 3.

The miner reported sales of 11.15 million mt during the quarter, a growth of 45 percent year on year, according to the filing.
