India’s Man Industries to move its pipe unit to UAE

India's leading steel line pipe manufacturer, Man Industries, reportedly plans to move its steel pipe-making unit in Indore, India, to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The cost of the project is expected to be AED 175 million ($47.6 million). Sources report that the negotiations for the proposed plant are at an advanced stage and that the location of the plant will be clear in a month's time. The company expects the new plant to produce pipes worth AED 500 million ($136 million) annually. The steel pipes produced at the plant will be supplied to the Middle East market.
