India’s JSW Steel Limited acquires stake in start-up Ayena Solutions

India’s JSW Steel Limited has acquired a 31 percent equity stake in start-up Ayena Solutions through its wholly-owned subsidiary JSW Steel Coated Products Limited, a JSW Steel Limited statement said on Tuesday, March 14.

Ayena Solutions, a start-up registered with the government of India, is in the business of manufacturing, selling and installing modular kitchens.  

JSW Steel Limited said that the acquisition will enable it to explore new ways to increase the use of coated steel products and to expand its retail footprint and diversify its product portfolio.
