India’s iron ore exports rise 21.5 percent in January

According to data revealed on Wednesday, February 18 by the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries, India's iron ore exports rose by 21.5 percent year on year in January to 13.99 million mt.

Meanwhile, in the April 2008-January 2009 period, India's iron ore exports fell by 1.5 percent to 78.46 million mt, compared with 79.67 million mt a year earlier.
