According to India’s Ministry of Commerce, iron ore pellet exports have increased year-on-year as well as month-over-month for the past 8 months. In November, India’s pellet export total is 10.5 percent higher year-on-year and 39.8 percent higher month-on-month.

The consistent increase is attributed to reduced freight charges within the country, a lower export duty burden, and strong global iron ore prices.
