India imposes final AD duty on wire rod imports from China

India's Ministry of Finance has announced that it has imposed a final antidumping (AD) duty on imports of wire rod of alloy or non-alloy steel from China.

The antidumping duty rates for the mentioned imports are equivalent to the difference between the realized value of the subject goods and $535/mt for China-based Minmetals Yingkou Medium Plate Co., Ltd, and equivalent to the difference between the realized value of the subject goods and $546/mt for all other Chinese exporters. The duties will be effective for a period of five years effective from November 2, 2016, when a provisional antidumping duty was imposed on the products.

The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213 and 7227, excluding the products under 72131090 and 72271000.
