Import iron ore price in China hits all-time high in H1

In the first half of 2011, the average import price of iron ore in China was $160.89/mt CFR, hitting an historic high, up $47.92/mt or 42.41 percent from the same period of last year, according to data from the Chinese customs authorities.

In the given period, China's total iron ore imports amounted to 334.25 million mt.
