Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Co. (Hunan Valin Steel) has announced respective pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs of 1.42 million mt, 1.75 million mt and 1.64 million mt for the month of April of the current year.
In the January-April period this year, the steelmaker’s pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs totaled 5.69 million mt, 6.96 million mt and 6.57 million mt, respectively.
