Hikes in scrap surcharges by Arcelor and Salzgitter

According to market reports, European mills Arcelor and Salzgitter have effected hikes to scrap surcharges ranging between €10-17 per tonne for February deliveries. Thus, for the purpose to offset increases in raw material costs, Arcelor is going to apply €54/t, whereas Salzgitter will be applying €57/t.
