Hebei to spend RMB 4.76 billion on environmental protection in 2015

Gao Zhili, finance department director for China’s Hebei Province, has stated that in 2015 the province will invest RMB 4.76 billion ($0.77 billion) in curbing air pollution, in groundwater exploitation, energy conservation and environmental protection. He also stated that the steel industry will be a key field for the province’s focus on environmental protection in 2015.
