Hebei Steel Mining’s iron ore concentrate output up 12.78% in Jan-Mar

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that its subsidiary Hebei Iron and Steel Group Mining Co. (Hebei Steel Mining) produced 2.078 million mt of iron ore concentrate in the January-March period of this year, up 12.78 percent year on year and constituting a record-high quarterly output.

Meanwhile, another subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. (Tangsteel), exported 393,000 mt of cold rolled products in the first quarter, up 10.90 percent year on year.
