Hebei Steel Group eliminates nearly 4 million mt of dated capacities in 2009

In 2009, giant Chinese steel producer Hebei Steel Group dismantled eight 400 m3 iron-making blast furnaces, one 150 m2 sintering machine, three 60 m2 sintering machines, two 36 m2 sintering machines, one converter/electric oven-based steelmaking plant and three rolling production lines, thus eliminating a total of nearly 4 million mt of dated capacities.
