Guatemalan iron and steel exports more than double in April

Guatemalan exports of iron and steel in April rose 139.3 percent in April year-on-year, according to a media report citing government data.

According to data from the nation’s central bank, iron and steel exports in the fourth month of the year more than doubled from $8.9 million to $21.4 million.

In the comparison with March, exports of iron and steel increased 15 percent, month-on-month.
