Guangzhou market to receive new imported batches

Huangpu port, located in southern China's Guangdong province, expects to receive nearly 45'000 metric tons of imported steel products this week. The largest batch will be 28'570 metric tons of various steel products from Ukraine. The port also expects a shipment of 9'675 metric tons of various products from the UK. Furthermore, the port is scheduled to receive from Japan 3'900 metric tons of coil products, 2'100 metric tons of steel sheet products and 1'000 metric tons of various other products. Russia (5'132 metric tons) and Hong Kong (4'300 metric tons) will make up the remainder of the shipments. The imported products may have a further softening impact on Guangzhou's steel markets.
