Germany’s SMS Mevac to supply RH plant for Tubos Reunidos

German plantmaker SMS Siemag has announced that its subsidiary SMS Mevac has received an order from Spain-based pipe producer Tubos Reunidos for the supply of an RH plant.
 
The plant will be designed to produce 400,000 mt per year of steel of high cleanness in terms of inclusions and with ultra-low gas contents for the manufacture of seamless steel pipes.  With this plant scheduled to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2013, Tubos Reunidos will fulfill the demanded requirements on steel cleanness.
