According to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), Germany's passenger car output in September this year rose by four percent year on year to 560,100 units.
During the month in question, new passenger car registrations in Germany increased by eight percent year on year to 280,800 units, while passenger car exports rose by six percent year on year, increasing to 426,600 units.
In the January-September period of 2011, Germany's total passenger car output reached 4,409,700 units, up seven percent, passenger car exports amounted to 3,384,800 units, up eight percent, while new registrations increased by 11 percent to 2,401,800 units, all compared to the corresponding period of 2010.
