Fushun Special Steel’s net profit rises by 17 percent in 2010

According to the financial report issued by Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel producer Fushun Special Steel, in 2010 the company realized a year-on-year rise of 23.77 percent in its main business revenue, reaching RMB 5.17 billion ($152 million). Meanwhile, its net profit in 2010 came to RMB 31.15 million ($4.74 million), up 17.07 percent compared to the previous year.
 
In 2010, Fushun Special Steel produced 667,100 mt of crude steel and 543,300 mt of finished steel, rising by 2.03 percent and 2.13 percent year on year respectively. During the same period, its exports of finished steel products reached 41,838 mt, up 165 percent compared with 2009.
