Freight volumes on China’s railways up 8.2 percent in January-October

In the January-October period this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s railways amounted to 3.328 billion mt, increasing by 8.2 percent, while the freight volume transported on China’s railways in October this year totaled 355 million mt, up 10.1 percent, both year on year, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
