According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-September period of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €7.94 billion, rising by 4.6 percent year on year.
During the period in question, France exported €938.57 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 4.9 percent, €344.94 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 19.9 percent, €504.45 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 9.4 percent, €270.73 million of cold drawn wire - up 3.5 percent, and €558.91 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 13.5 percent, all compared to the first nine months of 2017.
