France's steel product export value up 4.5 percent in H1

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the first half of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €5.48 billion, rising by 4.5 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France exported €593.33 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 17 percent, €240.89 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 19.3 percent, €349.18 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 7.4 percent, €190.39 million of cold drawn wire - up five percent, and €380.24 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 14.3 percent, all compared to the first six months of 2017.
