France's steel product export value up 4.3 percent in January-October

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-October period of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €8.93 billion, rising by 4.3 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France exported  €1.07 billion of steel pipes and tubes - down 2.2 percent, €388.87 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 19.7 percent, €565.24 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 8.2 percent, €302.1 million of cold drawn wire - up 2.2 percent, and €632.33 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 12.7 percent, all compared to the first ten months of 2017.
