France's steel product export value up 20.25 percent in January

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €933.6 million, rising by 20.25 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France exported €96.2 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 37.8 percent, €54 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 2.5 percent, €30 million of cold drawn wire - down 4.4 percent, €39 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 25.5 percent, and €82.9 million of metal structures and parts - up by 104 percent, all compared to January 2017.
