According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the country's industrial production in August this year rose by 0.7 percent month on month, following a revised month-on-month increase of 1.8 percent recorded in July.
In August, France's production in manufacture of metals and metal products rose by 1.1 percent, the production of the automotive industry increased by 0.3 percent, while the output of the construction industry increased by 3.2 percent, all compared to the previous month.
