Foremost Group steps up shipping cooperation with WISCO

Senior officials of international shipping company Foremost Group recently paid a visit to major Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) to discuss the further improvement of cooperation between the two sides.

After several rounds of negotiations, Foremost Group and WISCO inked a time charter agreement for the supply of two ships to WISCO in 2010 and 2011 respectively, to support iron ore ocean transportation by WISCO.

The first ship to be provided is ‘Baomeilun', a 177,000 mt bulk carrier, 292 meters long and 45 meters wide.
