Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China in the January-November period this year totaled $121.26 billion, up 1.1 percent year on year, with a total of 54,703 new companies set up by foreign investment in China, rising by 77.5 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
In particular, in the given period the direct investments made in China by Singapore, South Korea, the UK, Japan, the US, and Germany increased by 7.4 percent, 38.7 percent, 198.9 percent, 20.1 percent, 3.7 percent and 30.2 percent, respectively, year on year.
