First cold rolled coil from Anshan

Chinese mill Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co. has stated that the first cold rolled coil has been produced from the No. 1 galvanizing line at its mill in Liaoining province, northeast China. The cold rolled coils are in thickness of between 0.3-2.5 mm and a width of 800-1550 mm. In addition, Anshan has started construction of two galvanized coil lines. Each of the line will have an annual capacity of 400'000 tons. With these new lines, Anshan can fulfill all the stages between hot rolled sheet to colour coated coil without shipping feedstock.
