Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate output up in June

In June this year, Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, increased its iron ore concentrate production by 1.6 percent year on year to 860,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month increased by 2.4 percent year on year to 183,000 mt.

In the January-June period of the current year, Evraz UGOK saw a 3.5 percent year-on-year increase in its iron ore concentrate production to more than 5 million mt. In 2012 the company plans to produce around 10.2-10.3 million mt of iron ore concentrate.
