In July this year, Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, increased its iron ore concentrate production by one percent year on year to 881,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month increased by 20.8 percent year on year to 180,000 mt.
In the January-July period of the current year, Evraz UGOK saw a 3.1 percent year-on-year increase in its iron ore concentrate production to 6.07 million mt, while its output of agglomerate went up by 17.4 percent year on year to 1.26 million mt.
