Evraz to pay $2-2.2 billion for Ukrainian assets

Following the announcement by Russian steel and iron ore producer Evraz Group (Evraz) of its acquisition of a number of Ukrainian assets (for more details see Evraz expands to Ukraine), the company today further announced that it will pay in the range of $2-2.2 billion, including approximately $1 billion in cash, for these assets.

The final consideration payable for the Ukrainian assets will be decided and approved by the company's BoD.
