Evraz Group withdraws from Krivorozhstal tender

Russian steelmaker Evraz Group announced that it would not participate in the October 24 tender for the privatization of Ukrainian long products producer Krivorozhstal. After evaluating the details of the investment, the company decided that the takeover will not meet the group's main targets, such as creating value for the shareholders. Evraz offered $2 billion as a starting price.
