Eurofer to open anti-dumping case against rebar imports

Emphasizing that rebar imports from Turkey, Belarus and Latvia into the EU increased by 16% in 2002 an 23% in 2001, European Confederation of Iron and Steel Industries (Eurofer) is preparing an anti-dumping case against imports of rebar from these countries. It is reported that the association is currently collecting data for filing the case against these three countries and any other countries raising their export of this material to the community. It is expected that the preparation completes in several weeks.
