EU to raise steel quota for Ukraine

During the meeting held last Friday in Brussels between European Union (EU) and Ukraine on the possible bilateral cooperation in steel, the EU announced its intentions to raise the quota for imports of steel products from Ukraine by 2.5 percent in 2007. The agreement would be enforced regardless whether or not Ukraine would enter to World Trade Organization (WTO) this year.
